Terms of Engagement
The general terms on which Advantage Accounting & Taxation provides services.
These general terms apply to the services we provide. Each client also receives an engagement letter setting out the specific scope and fees for their work.
Our services
We provide the services described in your engagement letter. Work outside that scope is quoted separately.
Your responsibilities
You agree to give us complete and accurate information on time and to keep records as required by law. You are responsible for the information in returns lodged on your behalf, and should review documents before they are lodged.
Fees
Fees are quoted before work begins and invoiced on completion unless agreed otherwise. Monthly packages are billed in advance.
Professional standards
As a Registered Tax Agent we comply with the Tax Agent Services Act 2009 and the Code of Professional Conduct, and as members of the Institute of Public Accountants we follow its professional and ethical standards.
Liability
Liability limited by a scheme approved under Professional Standards Legislation.
Ending an engagement
Either party may end an engagement by written notice. Fees for work completed up to that date remain payable.
